Pivot-Blacklist headquarters
IMPORTANT
Pivot Blacklist is DEAD. Long live Pivot Blacklist!
All important features of Pivot Blacklist have been included in Pivot itself since version 1.3RC2. If you're still running a version even older than 1.3 your site is vulnerable to all sorts of security holes and you're missing out on many excellent new features of Pivot. Therefore:
UPGRADE! There's really no excuse.
Also, now that you're here anyway: Welcome to my weblog! You might find quite a lot of other interesting things here. I hope you'll enjoy yourself!

If you plan on posting code, use pastebin please and post a URL to the code. The comment processing doesn't deal very well with code. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Human comment spammers: don't bother posting your crap here. Comments are moderated and I won't let any of your shit through.
Trackbacks
If you have an interesting related post on your own site you can leave a trackback. As they say: 'a little AJAX a day keeps the spammers away' which is why you'll have to click below to generate a trackback key. The key will be valid for 15 minutes and can be used only once.

love the script..
but i do have one question:
There is the option to use the “Bot-Question”-Feature, but wouldn´t it be better to use a function, which generates a random mix out of ascii and numbers, and the user shoud type thise mix into a field?
Like in some forums etc..
Greetings
Marcel

On all of the comments, the words are connected by ‘+’ signs or ‘%2’. Even after I added the catchphrases and those additional characters to the Blacklist, the spam keeps coming through.

Jay’s blacklist is no more. For that reason there is no dowload blacklist-button anymore in version 0.9.3. Which sucks.
Can’t we pivotpeople maintain our own downloadable blacklist? At least make an import option in the next version, please. So people can chose to publish blacklists.

the dir:

doesn’t exists on your server. My best guess is you installed a new instance of pivot (pivot_new) but forgot to install pivot blacklist for that new instance.

Maybe these people are dyslectic and can’t spell your last name? Did you try a much more trivial question such as “How much is 4 1” ?
