Being a webdesign & development 'veteran' myself (I created my first website in 1992) I had a really great time reading the presentation 'A Vernacular Web' by Olia Lialina. It brought back a lot of memories of what the web was like back in the early nineties. If you were already around back then it will bring a smile on your face many times and if you weren't probably even more. Have a blast from the past. The early days of webpage design in a great extensive article. Be sure to read it if you have some time to spare because it's quite extensive. Worth every minute of your time!
