So I take out an ad for my small business in Facebook ads, and set the bid for $1.50 per hit, although Facebook suggested a higher and more competitive amount ($2.25).

After a month I get zero feedback, no inquiries, no emails, no nothing. The only thing I get is an ulcer... after I open my credit card bill the other day and read: Facebook Ads = $106.89!

I try to contact someone at Facebook to get some kind of an answer as to why at $1.50 a hit I have nothing to show for it, and if it's possible that there are 70 visitors to my FB ad (with a direct link to my website) that are just window shopping???
After much digging I finally find a phone number for Facebook. I call and get an automated message which basically tells me they're not available to answer the phone, but could be contacted at c.facebook.com/ads. I then spend the next 3/4 hour typing them an email, which is promptly returned shortly after submitting, consigned as 'undeliverable' Mailer Daemon.

I've come to the conclusion that Facebook execs reside in an ivory tower somewhere, possibly Silicon Valley, complete with a series a cyber moats and high walls made of impenetrable plexiglass! From what I hear, I'm not alone... as I read many complaints from users frustrated at not being able to contact anyone real at Facebook when they have a question or a problem. The attitude of Facebook seems to be one of aloofness and indifference, regarding us (to borrow a phrase from the late 'Queen of Mean' Leona Helmsley) as "the little people".

May I suggest to anyone having a problem with Facebook's billing: If you're not using PayPal, talk to the customer rep at your respective credit card company. The agent I spoke with confided to me that there have been numerous complaints lodged against Facebook similar to mine, and I was allowed me to appeal the charge without paying this ridiculous charge.

Needless to say, since then my Facebook account has gone haywire and is now inaccessible! Ah, revenge is sweet in the Land of Facebook...

Hi Marco,

The nested accordion is working perfectly for me right now. The one problem I am running into is keeping the nested menu expanded on page load.

My structure is Parent Category > Sub Category > Product

When they click on the product, it goes the the product page, and I apply the expand class to that “Sub Category” menu so it stays open, but it isnt working.

Can you not keep a nested accordion open?

Thanks for the help,
Alex

I'm having the same issue. When Sub Category or Product is clicked, the menu closes/collapses. I only want the menu to close/collaspe when the Parent Category (top level) is clicked, not when sub-items are clicked. Is there a way to do this?

I love the menu and all your hard work. Amazing.

I said NO, i do not like the concept and as you know i'm a private person, i would not feel comfortable opening an FB account.
