Dark Matter Pro to be released next week
After countless nights of coding, tinkering, debugging I've finally reached the final beta test stage of my first premium photoblog template Dark Matter Pro. I've been working on this project since April 2008 which has been resulted in a wildly succesful Dark Matter Free edition. After the great success of this initial release I decided to take things a step further and start working on a premium version of this theme, incorporating a lot of features people had been asking me for. I strongly believe I have now created the ultimate photoblog template. Dark Matter Pro is highly configurable through an easy to use administration panel and can therefore cater for many different needs photographers may have. The design is completely colour neutral to make sure the posted images get all the attention. Dark Matter Pro kind of 'blends away' while yet providing all functionality needed for the perfect photography blog / portfolio site.
The success or failure of Dark Matter Pro will also determine whether I'll decide to release a few more templates based on the Dark Matter Pro backend functionality I developed. It's very well possible to create a few other templates with a whole different look and feel with some of the same functionality such as the AJAX carousel, the AJAX commenting and other cool features.
Finally, I plan to donate 10% of the Dark Matter Pro revenues to the Pixelpost team to support further development of their excellent software.
As soon as Dark Matter Pro is available I will update it's promotional website and update this post.
Happy Photoblogging!
