Yahoo term extraction - a hidden gem of an API
At the Hack Day last week I've been messing around with the Yahoo term extraction API. A true gem of an API which probably gets a lot less buzz than it should. This API is a potential backbone for any mashup application you can possibly think of because it can generate tags for you fully automatically. The API is dead easy to use and returns results in either XML or JSON. In the next couple of months I hope to release some interesting things for you all to enjoy using this excellent API. One of them will be a new version of WP-Taggerati with fully automatic tag creation for your posts!
So if you're creating a cool mashup, don't wait and dive right into the Yahoo term extraction API!
