Design is Dead
After a collegue told me about this post by Jon Hicks and the desktop extravaganza that followed I felt the urge to jump in as well. Here's my contribution, in my own dark and cynical way. The biggest problem a designer faces in my opinion is the fact that every idiot has an opinion about design and tries (or forces) the designer to consolidate to that opinion. In that respect life of a back-end developer is definitely a lot easier.
