Moving out...
I was going to write this posting before moving to Sweden but because of the truckload of stuff we needed to take care of I didn't get to that in time. So here I am, writing this posting in Sweden. I just woke up from our first night here so I guess now is a great time to write some sort of a status update on what's going on. Babble / lifelog ahead... Simply because my life is kinda shaken up at the moment.
For those who have no clue what this is all about: My girlfriend and I just moved to Sweden, as announced in this earlier posting. As you can see here on Flickr we've moved out of our appartment and our stuff is currently on it's way to us. Since it's going to take at least a week before our stuff arrives there's some chaotic days ahead of us. In 2 days (monday) we're going to start working for our new employer. That's right, no couple of days to settle down or rest. I guess we can sleep when we're dead!
At this time I'm still sort of dazed out after a very stressful week before our move so I guess I'm going to leave it at this. We've moved, we're in Stockholm and we're ready to start a new and hopefully exciting life in Sweden. We've got some hurdles ahead and we've experienced quite a setback already but... no pain, no gain. I'm quite sure some interesting times are ahead indeed!
Since I'm 'lifelogging' anyway I might as well mention some very special people here. Thanks Sandra (and Jeroen) for being my very best friend no matter what happens and no matter where our paths lead us! Thanks for a great last evening in Holland too. Thanks to Eddy as well for all your support and for being a really great friend as well. Looking forward to having you here as our first guest and I'm sure going to miss all of our video nights! My sister Astrid and my brother in law Johan deserve a special thanks as well for allowing us to stay at their place for a couple of days and for their support. There's an enormous amount of people I didn't mention but... that doesn't mean I've forgotten about you!
There's a lot of stuff I'm not going to miss but there's a lot of great people I will miss. Luckily Stockholm isn't all that far away from Holland.
Signing off for now. Stay tuned for more!

When my parents lived in Stockholm I went to visit them as often as I could. One of the nicest cities in Europe, although it’s a pain in the neck to find some decent beer at decent prices!
