Some tidbits, live from Stockholm
I thought I'd post some update tidbits on what I'm doing. No big posting this week because I'm currently in Stockholm again. My soon-to-be hometown. Unfortunately without my girlfriend this time though (I miss you!!!) but it's still nice to be here again and spend some times with my new collegues. As I wrote before, we'll be moving here permanently in July. I can't wait!
Then there's two geek-related things that I guess are worth mentioning ;) First of all this is my first posting typed on the spanking new MacBook Pro I received today. It's loaded with a whopping 2GB of RAM too so I guess I can't complain about my working environment so far! I just have to get used to the Swedish keyboard layöut. (see?)
Last but not least: I received an email today to ask if I am interested in trying out the new sexy LG Chocolate mobile phone. Since I'm a gadget freak I definitely don't mind playing with such a sexy phone for a while. More about that later!
Well... I guess that concludes this little 'side salad'. You're all up to date again now!

And about that cellphone… that thing sure looks sexy, and might be still usable, as far as I can tell from some photos – in contrast to those Razr’s from Motorola, which really suck.

However I’m still a lil’ scared about the ‘child diseases’ the laptop has, like it getting rather hot and the ‘whine’ issue. Do you experience any of those issues? Hope not!
That phone definitely looks sexy, didn’t look at its specifications yet though. My new one should also replace my iBead 256MB MP3 player. How do you get people to e-mail you asking if you wanna test it btw?!
PS: The Chocolate Bloggers link is not working correctly!

Of course I’ve only been using it for one day now but it doesn’t get any hotter than my old Powerbook G4 did and it’s not making any funny sounds. So far so good I guess!
And… you don’t need BootCamp. Check this out. It enables you to run Windows WITHIN Mac OS X which is much nicer. No need to reboot if you want to use some windoze stuff for a split second. It uses virtualization so it should run at (near) native speed as long as you stuf enough RAM in your mac.
About the phone:
I got emailed by them. They saw my blog and based on the impression it left with them they decided I’d be a suitable candidate to participate in the program. Being the gadget freak that I am I didn’t say no of course!

Wellll… the screens will still come in handy I think
And I’m not even thinking about getting rid of the G5 as long as there’s no Creative tools (Adobe) available as Intel binaries. Those still run shitty on Intel Macs. So…. the G5 isn’t dead just yet
