Mint has been released
It's out! First observation: KILLER looks! The best looking stats program I've ever seen. Minor downside: it uses MySQL. Major downside: No Internet Explorer support. Come on Shaun... that's like 80-90% of the browser market. It sucks but you just can't ignore it! Prepare for a review from a coder's perspective as soon as I can! I already purchased a license so it won't take long!

Anyway, it sounds ok, but there’s no demo available yet… I already think it’s quite expensive, but without seeing a working demo first I’m not buying it…
Does the price include upgrades/updates or not?

Why? It’s sheer simplicity and the fact that it gives me all the information I need. Mint is simply a highly improved incarnation of a stats app I already liked.
You can argue about the price and the per-site license and there are some other ‘loose ends’ but all in all I think it’s nice enough for me to justify the 25 euro’s (gotta love that cheap dollar) I paid for it. So sure, I’m a sucker for good looking things (and women too) but looks aren’t the only reason I decided to get Mint.
I plan to write a more in-depth review soon, addressing not only the cool wiz-bang features but the flaws and drawbacks as well. No one’s perfect, not even if he’s Shaun Inman.

Even though I’m a Mac user as well as someone who likes all things pretty, I’m sure as shit not spending that kind of money on (limited) stats. I’m a fan of functionality first, great looks (distant) second.
