After reading a request on the pivot forum made a quick hack Pivot extension that adds 'rate this posting' functionality to Pivot. You can see it in action on this site.
The ratings extension includes the so called 'rate-o-meter' snippet, a graphical representation of the article's rating. It's the first 'skinnable' Pivot extension.
